Rather than focusing solely on a local client base through a traditional physical office, we chose a different approach: using modern technology to make legal services relating to Spain accessible to clients wherever they may be.

By working online, we are able to assist clients across the United Kingdom, Spain, and internationally, allowing clients to obtain legal advice without unnecessary travel.

This approach makes legal services more accessible and efficient, while also reducing costs for clients—savings that are reflected in our fees.

Our mission

Solicitor in Spain was established in 2023 with the aim of helping individuals and businesses deal with legal matters in Spain from abroad.

Many clients need legal assistance in Spain while living in another country. Our goal is to provide a practical and straightforward way for clients to obtain professional legal advice and representation without geographical barriers.

Francisco Sánchez Calderón

Solicitor in Spain is directed by Francisco Sánchez Calderón, a fully qualified Spanish lawyer and member of the Seville Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados de Sevilla) with registration number 16,386.

Francisco completed his professional legal training at two respected Spanish universities:

  • Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED)
  • Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC)

He has also developed significant international legal knowledge by obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in English Law (LLB)in the United Kingdom and a Master of Science (MSc) in Real Estate Management and Investment from Edinburgh Napier University.

In addition, Francisco has qualified as a Generalist Adviser at Citizens Advice, where he has provided advice to clients on a range of legal matters under English and Scots law, including:

  • immigration
  • employment
  • welfare benefits
  • consumer law
  • contractual disputes

This combination of Spanish and UK legal experience allows us to assist clients dealing with cross-border legal matters between the UK and Spain.
